JUMP

NCSY’s Jewish Unity Mentoring Program (JUMP) offers yeshiva day school students the opportunity to become leaders who will make positive changes in their communities, while broadening their understanding of global issues facing the Jewish people. Through educational and collaborative projects, JUMP will effectively train yeshiva day school students in a variety of leadership and management skills. JUMP participants will be challenged to use these acquired skills to plan and complete a series of community wide projects.

National JUMP Leadership Seminar will be held on Sunday, Nov. 14 through Monday, Nov. 15 at the Tarrytown Doubletree Hotel. Yeshiva day school students from across the country will participate in a comprehensive two-day leadership seminar where they will hear from influential members of the Jewish world who play significant roles in various prominent organizations and institutions.

In addition to the speakers and skill building sessions, the National JUMP Leadership Seminar will officially launch the JUMP Challenge. This challenge consists of four student-coordinated events, which include a Chessed Event, a Torah Event, a Fundraiser, and an Advocacy for Israel Event. At the culmination of last year’s challenge, the winning team met with Donald Trump who presented them with a check of $2,500 for the implementation of their unique project. This year, selected teens/schools will once again have the opportunity to compete in this distinctive JUMP challenge experience.
